FERN PLACE COMMERCIAL OFFICES
The Fern Place Commercial Offices project was conceived as a contemporary mixed-use development comprising six generous, light-filled commercial units, a corner café, supporting mixed-use facilities and 13 on-site car spaces.
Building on the original brief, the design introduces a series of flexible communal outdoor spaces that extend the functionality of the workplace beyond the building envelope. High-level glazing has been strategically incorporated to promote natural ventilation and daylight penetration, while additional mezzanine loft spaces maximise usable floor area and enhance spatial diversity within each unit.
Architectural character is expressed through a custom-designed 7-metre-high feature steel column at the primary entry, forming a strong visual anchor and arrival sequence. Generous ceiling heights, bespoke external seating zones and large sliding shopfront glazing further reinforce the connection between interior and exterior spaces.
The result is a collection of adaptable, high-quality commercial environments that foster creativity, activity and community engagement.
