LENNOX MANOR HOUSES

Located in the coastal village of Lennox Heads in northern NSW, this project comprises six two-bedroom apartments designed to reflect the relaxed coastal character of the setting. Developed under the State Government Manor Houses planning provisions and submitted as a Complying Development through a private certifier, the project required precision and coordination from the earliest stages of design. The architectural approach was carefully considered to ensure the apartments visually relate to the surrounding predominantly single-residence context, achieving a scale and form that is both harmonious and contemporary.

The design integrates all key components—including access, privacy, covered outdoor areas, communal spaces and landscaping—into a cohesive architectural vision for the site. Thoughtful spatial planning and material selection allow each apartment to feel both private and connected, creating a unified development that balances functionality, aesthetic quality and responsiveness to its coastal environment.
